She will actually ask for things like baby carrots or red bell pepper strips for a snack. And our younger daughter (6), who actually didn't eat by mouth for the first four years of her life due to medical issues, will tell you how much she LOVES salmon and steamed broccoli. Go figure! :-)Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04845006701233426920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6125771927276076146.post-87701018689293443512010-05-27T11:56:02.458-04:002010-05-27T11:56:02.458-04:00Wow! thank you so much! yes, I know what you mean ...Wow! thank you so much! yes, I know what you mean about the "tut tutting". I try my best to feed them healthy food, but it is really hard in the society we live in sometimes. My mom fed us tons of healthy food, but I would sneak out and eat junk food anyway. I just try and strike a balance with what we eat, and get as much fresh food into my kids as I can (even if it means them eating on the couch in front of a movie) Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment and for reading!Tagan Engelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09664422372069062632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6125771927276076146.post-88075671235645939632010-05-27T01:11:45.138-04:002010-05-27T01:11:45.138-04:00I have to tell you I thought from the title this w...I have to tell you I thought from the title this was going to be a sanctimonious post about how great it is that your kids eat vegetables all the time, but it wasn't and it was a great post, and I appreciate the simple hint. My daughter claims to not like veggies but totally does eat them in the right environment. I am totally going to try this. the nuts are a good idea too. Thank you for offering help rather than just tut tutting about how badly some kids eat. I get really tired of talking with other parents about what their kids eat all the time. And PS: your kids are adorable.jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01056311839996251047noreply@blogger.com
